Evolution and Extinction

Key Stage 2

Children will work scientifically and creatively to explore the topics of Evolution and Extinction through researching, role play and making.

During the workshop, children will:

  • Have encounters with our Natural History collection.
  • Investigate changes to the local natural environment.
  • Learn about the human impact on local species.
  • Learn about ways to protect the environment.

The workshop will support the National Curriculum at KS2 in Science, History, Geography and Art, teaching children how to nurture the environment around them.
