An exhibition of new works created by learners studying Art at HMP Humber’s Novus GRAFT Studio, inspired by the collections at Scarborough Museums.
The project, a partnership with HMP Humber, was an opportunity for the learners to explore their own creative talents, celebrating how everyone can be an artist. The learners’ creativity in the use of everyday materials, including tea, newspaper and sugar sachets, demonstrates that art can be made from anything. Interpreted through the learners’ own words, the exhibition provides an insight into their inspiration and experiences, revealing the talent inside.
