Seagrass Seedbag making with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

Scarborough Art Gallery

Meet the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust team to learn about the charity’s seagrass restoration project at Spurn Point in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Take part in helping the project team and make a seagrass seedbag which will be planted in the mudflats this autumn.

Familes welcome, but children must be supervised.

Arrival 
There are no steps to the front door of the Art Gallery. Inside there is a Welcome Desk and our friendly staff will be ready to greet you.

The Welcome Desk, cloakroom (for coats and bags), shop, and 3 temporary gallery spaces and Space To Be are on the ground floor. The ground floor is fully accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Toilets and baby changing
We have two toilets both with baby change facilities. The toilets are upstairs and at the moment there is no lift.

Accessible toilet
There is a fully accessible toilet next door at Woodend Gallery, less than 2 minutes away.

Pushchair parking
There is a place to store pushchairs if you’d like to go upstairs.

Assistance animals
We welcome guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs in the gallery. Drinking bowls are available on request from the information desk. When visiting, please take responsibility for your assistance animal as it should remain under your care and control throughout your visit.

Dogs 
Well behaved dogs, kept on a lead throughout your visit, are welcome in the Art Gallery.
