Step back in time to experience an 1880-1910 magic lantern show of stories, songs and adverts. We’re delighted to welcome Dr Nick Hiley, a magic lantern collector and enthusiast who will take you on an illuminating journey using a special selection of slides from his collection.
Suitable for ages 16+
The event will take place in the ‘Friends Gallery’ at Scarborough Art Gallery, currently displaying Grimshaw’s Scarborough.
This room is on the ground floor of the gallery with step free access from the front door to the room.
There will be a designated room at Scarborough Art Gallery for visitors who might require a quiet space to sit.
