The Junior Open is a display of art by artists aged between 5 -13 living and working in North Yorkshire. The exhibition will run from Saturday 13 May – Sunday 3 September at the same time as the East Coast Open, and will be displayed in the Space To Be at Scarborough Art Gallery. Summary of key dates
| Saturday 6 May | Submissions of work to Scarborough Art Gallery (10am – 4pm) |
| Friday 12 May | Previews. 12.30 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm. Due to limited Gallery numbers please state when submitting your works which you will be attending. |
| Saturday 13 May – Sunday 3 September | Exhibition (selected works must be on display for the whole of the period) |
| 5 – 10 September | Exhibited work to be collected by artists or purchasers (10am – 4pm) |
